We’ve organized our services into three areas Preventative, Restorative, and Cosmetic but in practice, they all work together. A six-month cleaning catches the small problems that would have become big crowns. A well-placed filling protects against a future root canal. A whitening that finishes a restoration ties function and aesthetics into one outcome.
Preventative Dentistry
Routine care that keeps small problems from becoming big ones.
Most of what we do every day is preventative — the six-month checkups, professional cleanings, and early diagnostics that keep teeth healthy and catch issues while they’re still simple. We use digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection at every routine visit. We show you what we see on the chairside screen so you understand what’s happening in your mouth.
Restorative Dentistry
The work that brings teeth back to full function. Where Dr. Rouse spends most of his time.
This is the heart of our practice. Crowns, bridges, fillings, dentures, implant restoration — the dentistry that fixes what’s broken, replaces what’s missing, and holds up for decades when it’s done right. Dr. Rouse is trained as a restorative-first dentist, which means his clinical judgment leans toward “what’s the long-term right answer,” not “what’s the fastest patch.”
Cosmetic Dentistry
Conservative cosmetic care, built on the same restorative foundation
We don’t think of cosmetic dentistry as a separate department. It’s the natural extension of restorative work done well — when a filling, crown, or veneer is placed correctly, it both works and looks the way it should. We’re honest about which cosmetic procedures are right for which situations, and we’ll always offer the most conservative option that achieves what you want.
Connect With Us
There are procedures that are better done by a specialist, and when they are, we’ll refer you to one — but we stay involved in your care. We coordinate with the specialist, follow up afterward, and finish the case in our office whenever possible. You don’t lose your dentist when you need specialist work. You gain a team.
We currently refer out:
- Wisdom tooth extractions → trusted local oral surgeon
- Complex root canals → trusted local endodontist (Central Ohio Endodontics, Buckeye Endodontics, or Columbus Endodontic Specialists)
- Surgical implant placement → trusted local oral surgeon (planning + restoration stays with us)
- Advanced periodontal surgery → trusted local periodontist

Clear Aligners
We'll be offering a clear-aligner system (non-Invisalign) for adult orthodontic cases. Ask us about it at your next visit if you're considering aligners — we can talk through your options before the page goes live.
