Meet Dr. Thomas "Tommy" Rouse, DDS

Dr. Thomas Rouse is the owner of High and Henderson Dental and is proud to continue the practice’s long-standing tradition of thoughtful, personalized care in the Clintonville community.
Education and Training
Dr. Rouse earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with pre-dental distinction from Ball State University, where he also graduated from the Honors College. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2018 and was the recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, where he gained advanced experience treating dental emergencies and providing comprehensive care in both hospital and clinical settings.
Procedures and Scope of Practice
Dr. Rouse has spent the last several years in private practice, caring for patients with a wide range of dental needs, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, surgical, implant, crown and bridge, and emergency dentistry. His experience also includes treating patients with complex medical histories, dental anxiety, disabilities, and other unique care needs.
Dr. Rouse is dedicated to lifelong learning and has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education. His advanced training includes Invisalign certification, dental photography, Implant Pathway training focused on the placement of dental implants, and extensive coursework through the Kois Center in Seattle, an evidence-based curriculum focused on esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. He is also pursuing Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry.

About Dr. Rouse
Professionally, Dr. Rouse is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Originally from Indianapolis, Dr. Rouse has called Clintonville home since 2022 and loves being part of the neighborhood’s vibrant, close-knit community. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing volleyball, watching horror movies, exploring Clintonville’s restaurants, shops, and entertainment, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He and his fiancé, Ray, are also the proud parents of two rambunctious pugs, Sheldon and Stuart.
